Planning My Daughter's Wedding

Some of you may know that my daughter is getting married on August 2nd.  She lives in Utah and her fiancee is from Michigan.  The wedding is going to be here in Ohio where I am located.  I am in charge of all the details for the wedding.  I just wanted to share with you something I just had made for her.  This lovely lined burlap card holder will be used for their gift cards at the wedding reception.

I am either making, painting, or otherwise creating many of the wedding decor for the reception.  My friend, Jamie has a shop on Etsy.  I happened to see an idea about using a burlap basket for a card holder at the wedding reception.  I showed her a sample and this is what she created.

I have to admit that my card holder is so much nicer than the one I showed Jamie.  She even took the time to nicely line the basket, giving it the ability to stand on its own.  She also added heavy duty handles making it easy to carry.

Ashley will be able to use this basket for other purposes after the wedding is over.  That of course is, only if I let her take it home.  The jury is still out on this one!!

Jamie creates other lovely items for weddings.  If you would like to see her shop click here: Hev-Vin Designs .  She also welcomes custom orders!

Thanks for stopping by!

What a nice surprise to see you wrote about my custom baskets. I love making my customers happy as I feel like my creations are an extension of who I am. We live the life, don't we?
