Awesome Concert

Last night we went to an amazing concert.  I am so glad that I decided to get tickets for this one.  You often do not get to hear so much talent at one concert.

We had pretty good seats.  Could see the band and could see the screen nicely too.  It just brought back so many memories of my youth.

The concert started with the performance of Loverboy....I have always loved their music.  As time passes by you often forget the songs of the past.  I must say, even though they are much older now they surely can still rock the stage.

With a brief break in between bands, the next group to hit the stage was Pat Benatar.  Still putting on an amazing show, it was just awesome....Loved her music too....What great memories...

Finally, Journey came on.  Although they have a younger singer with the band, his voice is a perfect fit for the band.  What energy he had too.  He bounced all over the stage.  I wish I had that much energy!!

I am always so impressed with the talent of the musicians and singers.  What gifts they have.  Often they are not only able to sing, but to play many different instruments...The drummer of Journey is not only fantastic on the drums, but can sign like no tomorrow....and not just back up either....I could just sit and watch them play for hours....

Anyway, the night started out crazy with Randy forgetting the tickets.  He dropped me off because we were suppose to meet up for dinner with his cousins.  I found myself wondering from place to place, trying to figure out where we could get in and eat in time for the concert.  We ended up not meeting the cousins for dinner, but did hook up for the concert.

All and all it was fun and a good night had by all.

Have a great day!
