MY HOLIDAY

My holiday was very nice and I hope yours was too. My son proposed to his girlfriend and hopefully will be getting married in the fall. We had a lot of fun with the new kids in our lives, as my son will soon be a stepfather to two beautiful girls, McKenzie who is 8 and Dylan who is 5. Christmas is definitely more fun when there are kids around.

It was also nice to have my daughter in town from South Carolina to spend the holidays with us. She will be leaving on Monday for her return home. Time goes by so quickly when she is here.

Our home was filled with many people whom we love on Christmas Eve. My nephew, his wife, and beautiful baby girl Christene, came in town to share the evening with us too. What a difference a year makes!

Christmas day was a busy day making rounds from our son's home to Randy's cousin's home for dinner. My parents joined up with us there. After dinner my son and his family came there, where we all proceeded to caravan to Randy's brother's home in German Village. We met up there with the rest of Randy's family. The evening was filled with a game that is played to replace the normal gift exchange, along with more food, drinking, and mingling.

After all of the hustle and bustle I slept in until 10:00 a.m.... I will be taking it easy and enjoying a movie later today with my baby girl. There are only a few more days left to enjoy time with her here.

I hope your Christmas was filled with lots of food, friends, family, and cheer! Once again another Christmas has come and gone......until we repeat it next year...

Amy

See what's new!
